Home.

We came home yesterday. Baby slept through the goodbyes to hospital staff, the parking lot "discussion" about how to adjust the carseat straps, the short journey, the introduction to kitty, and the several hours that followed. It was as if our life from before was continuing just as it had been until being interrupted by four wild, crazy, emotional, beautiful days – days that began to seem like they were only just a wrinkle in time ... a parallel universe ... a dream.

And then she woke up, and the dream continued.
