Rewriting the dictionary.

The ray of sunshine that is Sunshine quoted Albert Einstein's definition of insanity in a post marking the start of a new cycle, a new chance for different results:
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
I think many of us might identify with that from time to time (like every 28 days or so). But one day the results will be different, won't they? ... Or so we hope. So we must hope.

And then there's this one, which might be a bit more categorical:
Insanity: walking by a clinic of sorts, reading its signage: PREGNANCY RESOURCE CENTER: WE CAN HELP!, and thinking, Huh. Perhaps I should pop in.
I'm clearly no Einstein.

  2. Ah-yes....Have you ever seen the movie Amadeus? I love Tom Hulce's depiction of insanity while acting as Mozart. I felt like that quite often while dealing with the crazy world of IF.

  3. If it's the crazy that keeps us going, then bring on the crazy! Here's hoping we all get the results we're looking for soon!
