Auto-complete strikes again.

It's like auto-complete reads my blog or something ... or so I suspect, and not for the first time. Metoclopramide for dogs? How else could it have known that that's exactly what I needed?

  1. Autocomplete freaks me out too. I asked a fairly random question out loud to my friend. She didn't know the answer so I decided to Google it. Sure enough, autocomplete matched my random question after I typed in only one and a half words. Plus much more common variations of the question were listed further down the list. How is that even possible?

    1. Because it can read your mind ... or so it really does seem. Scary!

  2. Agreed. Auto-complete can be a bitch sometimes. I find it even worse when/that it remembers all your previous google searches and highlights them when ever you start typing a similar search. I don't need those reminders.

    1. Yes, I do think I've trained auto-complete. Some of what it suggests for me is partly my own fault.

    1. I know - I go back and forth between the convenience and the annoyance, and am sticking with the former for the meantime. Plus it gives me something to blog about when ideas are lacking ....

      Thanks for coming over!
