A record-breaking day.
Today marks the longest I've been pregnant. At this point of the last try, 34dpo (6w6d), even though the hCG levels were still slowly increasing and the empty sac was still slowly growing, I'd already begun to bleed. We held onto the slimmest ray of hope for another week, but really, we both knew that it was the beginning of the end.
Every day ahead of us now is one that cannot be measured by that last loss; each will stand alone without comparison.
That's a nice little thing to look forward to.

ReplyDeleteI think there is an important break that happens when you surpass a milestone like this. All the sudden you can't compare it to your last one anymore and it becomes it's own, unique pregnancy that is entirely different from anything else you've ever experienced. I'm absolutely beaming for you.
