Since I'll be busy being a full-time tourist guide, I won't be able to leave comments for others or to post entries myself. If you're here for ICLW and can forgive this oversight on my part and would like to leave a comment anyway, among my archives, I would be very happy to read and respond to it when I'm back.
If you're here as a new reader, here's a little introduction I prepared last month. What's changed since then? Not too much, really (other than learning – and doing something about – fertility-related thyroid issues). Still here. Still hoping. Et cetera.
Have a great weekend and week that follows, all, and I'll be very much looking forward to catching up on all of your news after this spring break!
PS: If you'd like to follow us along vicariously at home, here's just a little of what I've put on the must-do list:
cruising around the lake on an old steamer.
clambering to the top of the cathedral tower.
gazing at the Alps (weather and snowmelt permitting).
strolling among vineyards tumbling steeply towards the lake.
crossing a gorge on the world's highest suspension footbridge. (just kidding. my dad would never let me do this (again).)
The pictures are beautiful. =) I hope you have a great week with your family. I've been enjoying following your blog.
ReplyDeleteIt was lovely, thank you for the wishes!
DeleteWow, nice pics! My spring break already happened and I'm unfortunately already stuck in school now. Sorry I haven't been commenting for a while- life's been busy but I've been reading!
ReplyDeleteIt is a bit late for a spring break - perhaps pre-summer break is more accurate? In any case, I hope you enjoyed yours too!
DeleteI want to come out an join you for your spring break! That looks so lovely. I love the Alps so much. Wow, you have so many amazing places on your doorstep. Have a wonderful time, we will just all have to do one extra comment especially for you.
ReplyDeleteWe are so lucky that way - no matter which way one looks in this country, there's beauty. Thanks for doing your bit to help me out with the comments :)
DeleteVisiting from ICLW... Wonderful pictures
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting - I just went over to your own blog and had a much-appreciated laugh at the photo of your husband "trying on" some new attire!
DeleteHave a lovely holiday with your parents. I really don't fancy that suspension bridge, much prefer to be on solid ground. :)
ReplyDeleteBut the bridge makes one appreciate solid ground just that extra bit more!
DeleteHave an amazing time with your parents. A little dose of family is always good for the soul. Catch up with you when you return!
ReplyDeleteYes it was indeed! (Good for the soul. As well as amazing.) Thank you for the wishes!
DeleteVisiting from ICLW - gorgeous pictures! Going to check out your other posts about thyroid issues.
ReplyDeleteThanks - it's an easy subject! I will be posting again soon about thyroid issues, and will take a look at your own posts on the subject, too.
DeleteOMG...your to-do things are all superb!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your miscarriage...
Good Luck with everything.

ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by! And yes, it's so scary - my hands were sweating the whole time I crossed it, and I couldn't let go of the railing, as if that would have saved me had the whole thing collapsed!
